The Orissa Staff Selection Commission is responsible for selection of candidates to fill up the vacancies in various State cadre Group-C/Class-III posts in different departments of State Government. In course of current financial year the Commission is likely to hold a number of recruitment examinations. The number of candidates appearing in the various examinations conducted by the Commission runs to about 2 lakhs in a year. Certain activities of the overall process in regard to these examinations are intended to be outsourced to eligible and experienced Firms.
Tenders are invited from eligible Firms intending to take up the following jobs.
i) Printing and supply of information brochure, application form including bar code numbered OMR sheets of size 21.5 cm x 30 cm, acknowledgement card ( post card size ), envelope two nos. ( 15 cm x 25 cm and 25 cm x 30 cm), admit card ( 12 cm x 20 cm), window envelop for admit card. The application forms are to be printed on 100 to 105 gsm paper and supplied in polythene pouch cartons containing 100 sets each. Printing and supply of OMR response sheets in A-4 size paper ( A composite rate is to be quoted per 100 sets of application forms and 100 sets of response sheets).
ii) Pre-examination processing, Scanning of the OMR sheets detached from the application forms, preparation of data base of applicants and list of eligible candidates with allotment of roll numbers, processing and issue of admit cards and attendance sheets. (A composite rate per candidate has to be quoted to cover all these items).
iii) Post examination processing: Scanning of OMR response sheets, preparation of mark sheets of candidates. Consolidation of data, preparation of category-wise merit list of candidates. Preparation and despatch of admit cards for main exam, preparation of attendance sheet, call letters for viva-voce, broad sheet for viva-voce, merit list of candidates for various stages of examination, Preparation of bio-data of selected candidates ( A composite rate per candidate is to be quoted)
The estimated cost of the tender is approximately Rs.15 lakhs per annum.
Tender application can be downloaded from website www.odishassc.in; and can also be collected from the Office of the Orissa Staff Selection Commission by contacting the Secretary during working hours.
Tender should be submitted to Secretary, Orissa Staff Selection Commission, Barrack No.1, Unit-v, Bhubaneswar-751054, so as to be received by him by 3 PM of 28.6.2011.
The tenderer shall submit Technical Bid and Financial Bid in two different sealed envelops clearly marking the contents on the cover of each envelope, both of which are to be put in a single envelope.
The technical bid cover-1 of the tender will be opened on 29.6.2011at 11.30 AM ,and cover-2 containing financial bid will be opened on 29.6.2011 at 3.30 PM by the Secretary, OSSC in presence of tenderers who may be present at the time of opening.
Each tender has to be accompanied by security deposit of Rs.30,000/- in shape of Bank Draft/Bankers’ cheque in favour of Secretary, OSSC,Bhubaneswar.
Tenderer must submit ITCC, STCC and VAT Clearance along with tender papers.
Each of the items put to tender is a time bound operation. Complete confidentiality has to be maintained at all levels in execution of these activities..
The Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any tender without assigning any reason and is not bound to accept the least or any other tender.
